SOL Kreatif is Indonesian based creative agency, established in mid 2024. They provide wide range solution for business & individual (from entrepreneur to people’s representative).

SOL Kreatif came to Userstellar with one simple vision: own a modern website. At first, it was quite difficult to interpret the scope of “modern”. After several discussion beyond the discovery chat, we finally able to get more understanding which direction the brands wanted to go, and how far the “modern” should this website become.

Challenge & Solution

The challenges were:

  • If we build an extreme-ultra animated website to make it “modern”, it might not working properly on a small device
  • A heavily animated website also might too shocking for the audience and forgetting the actual content that the client wants to deliver
  • There are few more challenges regarding finding the balance between “modern” this website wants to achieve, technical feasibility, and “market acceptance”.

So we look back to the design principle: simplicity.

We get rid the unessential that don’t serve a significant purpose; the elements that distract visitor from what we want them to focus on. We also try to use enough soft animation to guide visitors consuming the website’s content.

Overall result
The animation is great, especially in the hero section. It’s edgy, which suits us as a creative agency. The running text in the team section (marquee text) is also a nice touch. Overall, it’s a great result.

Best working experience
The whole process was excellent—10/10. Userstellar made sure we understood everything, even though we have limited technical and web strategy knowledge. For instance, they have the expertise to create a great website but always took the time to listen to our input. I’ve worked with others who push their ideas without balancing the client’s needs or giving logical explanations. This was a major difference, so it’s a 10/10 for me.

Smooth workflow that makes the process “fun”
One word—”fun”. Userstellar met all scheduled milestones, explained things clearly, and kept us updated through email, chat, and ClickUp for the task progress.

Pricing
Definitely worth it. Userstellar can deliver the site as their promise within a week. I showed the website to others, and the feedback was positive. It exceeded the expectations.

Strategy, suggestions, and ideas
This is where “exceeded expectations” really comes in—like setting up heatmaps and suggesting animations that suit our brand and serve a purpose. These were things I hadn’t even thought of. Userstellar didn’t just deliver what was requested; they gave us what we needed, and we really appreciate that.
